Who we are
This website is operated by Graham Robinson, trading as Graham Robinson Psychotherapy & Counselling, a sole trader based in Ireland. This policy explains how personal data is collected and used when you visit grahamrobinson.ie.
For questions about this policy or your personal data, please use the contact form.
What data this website collects
This website collects minimal data. The only personal data actively collected is through the contact form, which asks for:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The subject of your enquiry
- Your message
This website uses Google Ads tracking cookies to measure advertising performance. A consent banner is shown on your first visit — tracking cookies are only set if you click Accept. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies. No other tracking cookies, analytics, or advertising is used.
How your data is used
Information submitted via the contact form is used solely to respond to your enquiry. It is not added to any mailing list, shared with third parties for marketing purposes, or used for any purpose other than responding to you.
Third party services
This website uses the following third party services which may process limited data:
- Web3Forms — processes contact form submissions and forwards them to a secure email inbox. Web3Forms does not permanently store submission data. Their privacy policy is available at web3forms.com.
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's servers when you visit this site. Google may log the request. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com.
- Cliniko — if you proceed to book a session, your booking and clinical data is handled by Cliniko, a GDPR-compliant practice management platform. Cliniko's privacy policy is available at cliniko.com.
- Google Ads — if you accept cookies, Google Ads tracking is used to measure advertising performance. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com.
- GitHub Pages — this website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log basic server request data such as IP addresses. GitHub's privacy policy is available at github.com.
Client data
If you become a client, your clinical and personal data is handled separately under the terms of the Client Agreement and a dedicated privacy notice provided at the start of therapy. That notice covers session notes, intake information, and all data processed in the course of the therapeutic relationship.
The Client Agreement is available to read at any time.
How long data is retained
Contact form enquiries are retained only as long as necessary to respond to and resolve your enquiry. If no therapeutic relationship results from the contact, data is not retained beyond that point.
Client data retention is covered separately in the client privacy notice — clinical records are retained for seven years following the end of therapy in line with professional and legal obligations.
Your rights under GDPR
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:
- Access the personal data held about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data, subject to any legal retention obligations
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland) at dataprotection.ie
