About me
My name is Graham Robinson. I work online with adults across Ireland, the UK, and EU. Clients often come to me feeling stuck, carrying anxiety, low mood, or patterns in relationships they can't quite shift.
I work in a calm, grounded way, but I'll challenge you when it's useful. I'm not here to be impressive or to make myself necessary. I'm here to help you need me less.
Before training as a therapist I studied Applied Psychology at University College Cork, which gave me a lasting respect for research and evidence-based practice.
I believe that continued professional supervision and skills development are essential to ethical and effective counselling and psychotherapy practice.
How I work
My approach is integrative, drawing on Attachment theory, CBT, and the Person-Centred Approach. If there is something practical and concrete that can help, we work on that first. Sometimes going deeper is exactly what is needed, and I won't avoid that either.
Early experiences shape how we relate to ourselves and others. Understanding those patterns is often the beginning of changing them.
Not every difficulty needs to be traced to its roots. Sometimes a shift in thinking or behaviour is what actually helps, and we start there.
The relationship between us matters. So does your own sense of what you need. We work together, and I'll be honest with you throughout.
An initial consultation is 30 minutes, low commitment, and a chance to see if we are a good fit. There is no obligation to continue.
